Simple Past Tense Örnekler

Simple Past Tense (İngilizce geçmiş zaman) bir cümle yaparken önce özne yazılır, sonra fiilin ikinci şekli getirilir, nesne ve son olarak  zaman zarfı ile cümle tamamlanır.

 

Özne + Fiilin 2.şekli + Nesne + Zaman zarfı

I ate an apple a few minutes ago. Ben birkaç dakika önce bir elma yedim.

Siz onları ne kadar (süre) beklediniz? 

We waited for one hour. 
Biz bir saat bekledik. 
 
I finished work, walked to the beach, and found a nice place to swim.
Ben, işimi bitirdim, sahile yürüdüm ve yüzmek için hoş bir yer buldum. 
 
He arrived from the airport at 8:00, checked into the hotel at 9:00, and met the others at 10:00.
O, havaalanına 8:00’de geldi, otele 9:00’da giriş yaptı ve diğerleriyle 10:00’da buluştu. 
 
Did you add flour, pour in the milk, and then add the eggs?
Sen unu ekledin, sütü içine döktün ve sonra da yumurtaları ekledin mi? 
 
I studied French when I was a child.
Ben çocukken Fransızca çalıştım. 
 
He played the violin.
O, keman çaldı. 
 
Did you play a musical instrument when you were a kid?
Sen, çocukken bir müzik aleti çaldın mı? 
 
She worked at the theater after school.
O, okuldan sonra tiyatroda çalıştı. 
 
She was shy as a child, but now she is very outgoing.
O, çocukken utangaçtı ama şimdi çok dışa dönük. 
 
He didn’t like tomatoes before.
O, daha önce (eskiden) domatesi sevmezdi. 
 
Did you live in Texas when you were a kid?
Sen, çocukken Texas’ta mı yaşardın? 
 
When did you buy that sweater?
Sen bu kazağı ne zaman aldın? 
 
Why did the computer break down?
Bilgisayar neden bozuldu? 
 
How long did the train journey take?
Tren yolculuğu ne kadar sürdü? 
 
I didn’t know your e-mail address, so I phoned instead.
E-posta adresini bilmiyordum, bu nedenle onun yerine telefon ettim. 
 
Did you get the message I left the day before yesterday?
Sen geçen gün bıraktığım mesajı aldın mı? 
 
I arrived home at five. 
Ben, eve beşte vardım. 
 
Yesterday I worked on my math homework for three hours. 
Ben dün matematik ödevim üzerinde üç saat çalıştım 
 
I didn’t drink coffee last night, so I slept well.
Ben dün gece kahve içmedim, ben böylece iyi uyudum. 
 
Did you call me last night?
Sen dün gece beni aradın mı? 
 
Where did your brother sleep last night?
Kardeşin dün gece nerede uyudu?
